Come join other Marching Marlin families for a potluck on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 6:00pm. (Preview Performance will be at 6:00p.m. The Potluck will follow.).   We will enjoy a potluck dinner and feed our hungry Marching Marlins.  If everything goes as planned, we can watch them fine tune their show as well.

What to bring:  lawn chairs, and main dish (pizza, subway, lumpia or a bucket of chicken are easy and popular.)  Each family is asked to also provide either a dessert, side/fruit/vegetable, or soda (2 or 3 liter) according to the guide below:

Side/Pasta/Vegetable: Woodwind

Desserts/Fruit: Color Guard, Percussion

Drinks: Brass, Pit

Band Fees


Marching Band and Color Guard Activity Fee TOTAL: $350

The member fees for participation in marching band include uniform rental/purchase and maintenance fees, music, drill, instruction, entry fees for ompetitions and the cost for travel to marching band festivals.  In addition this fee will include the "informal uniform" and required music folio/page protectors.   All OVERNIGHT trip expenses are NOT covered.  OVERNIGHT trips are additional.

MARCHING SEASON 2008 BEGINS!

Attention interested students! Bayside High School's Magnificent Marching Marlins are practicing for their 2008 marching season! This ensemble is open to rising 9th graders and students who will be enrolling in Bayside High School. Practices are after school on Wednesdays from now until the end of school. Band Cookbook!

THE BANDS OF BAYSIDE HIGH SCHOOL IS COMPOSING ITS VERY OWN COOKBOOK AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Please send us recipes to publish in our cookbook (Submit as many as you like!). We are looking for appetizers, main dishes, desserts and snacks.  We have enjoyed your delicious dishes over the years and would like publish them in our Magnificent Marching Marlins/Bayside Bands Cookbook!
